Down to I10 Today I have left the range that San Jacinto is in and crossed a desert valley where I10 goes to Palm Springs which is just 12 miles away. By the time I hit the valley floor it was pretty warm. Tomorrow I start going up the other side towards Big Bear Lake. First rattlesnake encountered. Second rattlesnake encountered.
